powerless.
According to official reports, Mwanza will soon gain statistical notoriety:
In two weeks, when the hydroelectric plants run out of hydro, we will become the largest city in the world without electricity.
But if we had to live anywhere in the world without electricity, it would be here. People are flexible, and kerosene is government-subsidized.
And the house is moving along nicely. No power tools needed here, just lots of muscle.

Hey you guys....
Loved the new photos, and when I clicked on the link I noticed an interesting fun fact--Kevin, we have the same sandals--I think you were sporting the some Chaco sandals. I must say, I am glad you have them...because at my old age my feet are starting to hurt, a lot, and in those, they really never do (NO, I have not been hired as a spokesperson, they just are very supportive shoes. I only wish they made closed toe shoes!)
Anyway. I really just wanted to post and tell you that I miss all of you, but I know you are in the right place.
May God bless you, as you build a house, learn a new language, raise your kids...and love on people in a way that only you can.
LOVE all of you-
Let me know when Elijah can run (and has his own hamster wheel.)
love, (aunt) shannon :)
