Josiah pictures...

Here's a link to some recent pictures of Josiah... birthday cake, braves game, and Vols adventure included. (just a coincidence that he is wearing the same shirt in nearly all the pictures. It is a favorite, though).

And Charity wouldn't let me post the pictures of her at the midwife, with belly in full view. Trust me, she looks great!

Kevin,
I have commented here before, but it has been a while since I visited your blog. Every time I come here and read through your reflections and comments on the events of life - from the mundane to the great - I am challenged and encouraged.
I don't know what the Lord may have in store for my life. I have a hunch it will include foreign missions. But your example is worth imitating. You and your family, Lord willing, will spread the Gospel and nurture the body of Christ in East Africa. And while your focus is most certainly on that future goal, I see you involved in the work of the kingdom showing compassion to a broken world right where you are right now. You aren't waiting for some magical point in the future to respond to God's calling on your life. You are constantly finding ways to respond where you are at any given moment. I pray for such a spirit of obedience.
Thanks for the challenge. Thanks for the encouragement. May the Lord bless you and your family as you strive to be obedient in the here and now.

peace,
